This is a one day practical course for people working with images. Participants  learn Photoshop techniques for assessing and correcting the colour in digital files.

 Topics:

  • colour management
  • colour balance an image using levels
  • detect colour cast
  • basic curves correction
  • using curves to correct key colours
  • introduction to adjustment layers
  • check shadow and highlight detail
  • ways of checking colour saturation

TRAINER Graeme Cookson is a consultant in digital imaging and graphics workflow. With a background in photography and pre-press, he takes a practical approach to applying the latest technology in the workplace. He has been teaching digital imaging since 2000 and is involved in digital and metadata standards in conjunction with Electric Lane. He  is the author of Image Passport and Image Visa scripts which automate aspects of the image workflow and increase productivity.
